Athens, Greece, June 8 -9, 2019 (teen/tween)

If you are fascinated with teens and tweens, love yoga, and want to make a difference in the lives of young adults, this is the training for you!

Focusing primarily on children ages 9-16, this ten-hour course will give you all the tools you need to create your own yoga program for older kids, preteens, and teens (and Yoga Alliance CEUs, too!) Through the use of games, props, and sequencing, we will transform traditional practice into a creative, stimulating, and—most importantly–FUN yoga experience for children ages 9 – 16.

You do not have to take the foundation training (for working with younger kids) in order to take this training, but it is highly recommended, either before or after this training.

In this teen/tween training, we will delve into the world of interactive asana and movement, and cover topics such as sequencing, teaching challenging postures to kids, and helping kids to deal with growing up in a yogic way. You will experience a one-hour mini yogis class, and to learn how to design empowering kid-specific practices that encourage older children to be strong, self-confident, and healthy in mind, body, and spirit.

This is a vinyasa-based training, but all practices and all levels are welcome to join in. Training is about technique, rather than technicalities, so the more you know coming in, the more you will get out.
