As a parent, you want nothing more than to see your children happy, healthy, and thriving in life. You are full vested in your children's success and are committed to helping them live out their full potential. Imagine your children, confident in their athletics, committed to academic excellence, and constantly evolving in their character and personal growth. The lives that lie ahead for them will be full of opportunities and achievement and the rewards that follow will be priceless.

What is m.y.FIT?

m.y.FIT is a serious and seriously fun yoga-inspired personal coaching and training program for extraordinary kids, tweens, and teens who are committed to excellence. Through a combination of physical training, goal setting, and accountability, children create a new standard for themselves that constantly propels them to the next level. Your child doesn't have to be a world-class athlete to do m.y.FIT, but s/he does have to have a world-class mindset.

Beyond push-ups, sit-ups, and handstands, your child will build the mental and physical strength to level up his or her life. Beyond specific physical results are the mindful and psychological commitment and determination to excel. This is not bootcamp, but personal pint-sized empowerment on overdrive.

Shift Happens.

If you would rather see your child in the world than on the iPad, pushing boundaries instead of hiding behind them, and excited by challenge instead of afraid of it, m.y.FIT fosters the mental strength, acuity, and toughness that translates into tangible and powerful action and results, taking the work we do off the mat and into real life.

Why work with me?

Understanding who I was as a child explains a lot about who I am today as an adult. When I was in first grade, I used to practice my sprints in the yard thinking, "if I can run faster than the speed of light for just one millisecond, I will be able to time travel." Those are the kinds of goals I have always set for myself. That has always been my level of determination.

As a preteen, I was selected for Irvine's first traveling soccer team. As a teen, I was All-State in tennis, practicing 3 - 8 hours every day, and waking up early to run before school. In adulthood, I am one of the most accomplished yoga practitioners in the world today.

Achievement was everything to me. Academically, I was always a straight-A Advanced Placement student, and went on to graduate Cornell University in just three years. In high school, I was selected by the U.S. Congress to represent my district in the nation's Model Congress and, speaking of achievement, won the Officer of The Year for Junior Achievement.

Since 2002, I have worked with thousands of children to shift their minds, their attitudes and their energies into a motivated and inspired, fearless and focused, dedicated and determined growth mindset. They see better athletic performance, improved grades, healthier relationships, and soaring self-confidence that carries them through every aspect of their lives.

Training in person in Los Angeles. Contact shana@miniyogis.com or call +1.310.478.2266 to discuss how I can help your child thrive.
