Michell began her yoga journey during her recovery from abdominal surgery.  She was quickly addicted to not just the physical practice, but happy to find the yoga body-mind-spirit connection.  She believes yoga is a key component of finding the balance that we seek.

She began her teaching journey after completing her 200-hour training at Just Yoga and children’s training through mini yogis.  Leading a variety of adult classes, she was asked to sub for a kid’s class and found a true calling.  Over the last 20 years she and her husband have foster-adopted 8 children.  This is  could be why leading children through their yoga adventure is such a natural fit.

A California native who lives in the Inland Empire she continues to take a variety of courses and workshops in an effort to deepen her own practice as well as grow as a teacher.   Her classes are full of smiles and giggles.
