Having herself experienced chronic pain as a child, Rachie was drawn to and exposed to the healing benefits of yoga at a young age. Growing up as the oldest of five siblings, she always knew she was destined to work with kids. And she continued to do so in various settings including camps, preschools, non-profit organizations and volunteer work. Now a certified yoga therapist and massage therapist, Rachie finally decided to combine her passions – her love of yoga and dedication to children –  by specifically training to be a children’s yoga teacher through Shana Meyerson’s mini yogis. Through LMU, she completed her 200-hour Yoga and the Healing Sciences teacher training as well as her Yoga Therapy certification (C-IAYT) and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Rachie enjoys working with the latest addition to her yoga practice – her two year old son – and continues to learn from and be inspired by him every day.
